One off workshops are offered for a more in depth look at a particular subject or technique. For example, Paper Stencilling and Sgraffito or Throwing Jugs etc.

Hand-Building Taster Workshop - £65

The new taster workshops will be for those wanting to try out pottery for the first time without any commitments or pressure. These will be 3 hour taster sessions on a Saturday afternoon for a laid back, slow pace, fun, try-out workshop.
In this workshop we will cover slab-building, and press moulding with decorative processes.
Saturday 31st January, 2-5pm
Price includes materials, firing and glazing as well as refreshments.
Throwing Taster Workshop - £80

The new taster workshops will be for those wanting to try out pottery for the first time without any commitments or pressure. These will be 3 hour taster sessions on a Saturday afternoon for a laid back, slow pace, fun, try-out workshop. There is space for 3 people.
In this workshop you can have a go at throwing on the wheel.
Saturday 24th January, 10-1pm

Short Courses
We offer a variety of more focused short courses. These can range from courses looking at more handbuilt and decorative techniques or particular skill levels in throwing.

Solo Practice Throwing Course - £336

Fridays 10:00 - 13:00
Six week course starting 7th November, The following dates include the 14th, 21st, 28th and December 5th, 12th.
This course will consist of week one, a tuition class. For getting advice on how to progress skills to practice within the four weeks of solo classes, and/or creating a project to complete within the four weeks. Then followed by week 2, 3, 4 and 5, solo (untutored) practice sessions, a time to practice whatever you wanted and at your own pace.
Finishing with week 6, a class for glazing (with tuition). This session will be organised once the pots have been fired and ready for decoration/glaze.
This class would be a way to progress and have time to practice skills within a fully equipped studio and alongside other potters in a supportive environment.
The price includes full access to all the studio materials and the firing of 10 pots that you have made throughout the 5 weeks, a choice of 2 pots from each week. You do have an opportunity to fire more pots at an extra cost if you can’t part with them.
