Screenprint Tile Workshop - £135

Saturday 31st October, 10:00-16:00
The workshop will explore contemporary slipware decorating techniques. During the workshop Jo will demonstrate and teach you about the process of decorating tiles by painting with decorating slips and printing techniques, including screen printing. If you would like further information about this course, please inquire. There seems to be a lot of interest in this workshop to date, so if necessary, I will run a second date for this session.
Short Courses
We offer a variety of more focused short courses. These can range from courses looking at more handbuilt and decorative techniques or particular skill levels in throwing.

All Abilities, Throwing Course - £312

Fridays 14:00 - 17:00
Four week course starting Friday 11th September followed by the 18th and 25th. Finishing on the 2nd October.
Within this course we cover: centering, throwing a cylinder, shaping (to create a mug, vase or bowl shape), turning (to finish the shape of the pot once leather-hard), and creating handles. If there is something particular you are wanting to try your hand at please come with ideas and we can create a suitable plan. We will also have a look at the wide range of decorative processes you can use to elevate your pots. And to finish you will be able to try your hand at glazing your bisque fired pieces.
